We would highly recommend John to anyone interested in buying a house in the Williamsburg or surrounding areas. Not only is John extremely knowledgeable in his business but he goes above and beyond the responsibilities of a realtor. He gave us answers before we even asked the questions and was always on spot when we needed him which made the whole home buying experience an extremely smooth one.

Everyone claims that home buying is a stressful, complicated endeavor but John made the process simple. He was always able to answer questions I had and was always there, any time of day, for any questions we had.

Coming from out of state it was important to us to have an agent that knew the area. He also took many pictures of the house as it was being constructed and sent them to us, which was very helpful.

He anticipated issues before we thought of them.

This was our first vacant land purchase so we had lots of questions. John guided us through the unique aspects of this type of purchase and always was knowledgeable about this process. John worked with us over 6 months as we developed our course of action. His professional knowledge and customer orientation made this a very easy process.

Not an easy feat, given our budget and the fact that we live out of state. He was patient, knowledgeable, friendly and extremely accommodating. He answered our many inquiries without once acting put out by our requests. We apppreciated the fact that John was never pushy, and we always felt he had our best interests at heart. We would not hesitate to refer John, and will to anyone we know who is looking for an agent. We'd like to thank John for all he has done.

John helped us buy our first house. We had just moved to the area from the other side of the country and really relied on John's knowledge of the market and the area. All of his advise was dead on. He told us in advance that many of the houses we had chosen to look at (based on online ads) were probably not what we were looking for, but he took us to all the houses anyway and in every case he was right on. We ended up choosing a for sale by owner and John made the closing process so smooth. John made recommendations for mortgage companies, insurance and home warranties. We researched all the options and in every case ended up going with who he recommended because they were the best option. He even helped the sellers find contractors for repairs. They said that they felt he earned his commission and told us they were glad we chose him. Overall, John is very well informed, always gives his honest opinion and has his clients' best interests in mind.

John was easy to reach and knowledgeable about the area. He thought of every single detail. The title company was excellent. Everyone I was in contact with was customer service oriented (a refreshing change, I might add). I would not hesitate to refer anyone.

He was responsive, attentive to details and always went above and beyond what you would expect from your agent. Because we were living out of state when we purchased our new home, John guided us through the entire process - from our initial search to the completion and closing on our home. He sent us pictures documenting the builder's progress, performed a preliminary walk-through, scheduled the closing to coincide with our moving plans and ensured that our utilities were turned on. He even took measurements so we could order appliances and window treatments! We would highly recommend John and would use him again!
